A Guide to Online Appointments at the Library

How to get to your learning / writing online appointment

After booking an online appointment using the University of Guelph Library website, you will be sent a confirmation and reminder email. Within the email, you will receive a meeting link that will be used to access your appointment at the appropriate time. When it is time for you appointment:

  1. Follow the link in the confirmation/reminder email.

  1. In the pop up window, choose the preferred Teams option, whether on your browser or the downloaded Microsoft Teams application.

  1. If you choose to use Microsoft Teams on your browser, allow it to access your microphone and camera, to be able to communicate during the appointment.

  1. Toggle the necessary settings (whether to turn the microphone/camera on or off) to your preferred choice and select "Join Now" to start your appointment.
