Read eBooks: EBSCOhost Ebooks

• Search for a title or use keywords.
• Use the additional search fields, and/or Select a Field to further narrow your search results.
• You can also browse by category, or browse the Highlights and Featured Ebooks titles.

Before you can download:

• Sign in (top left) or create a free EBSCOhost Account.
• Download Adobe Digital Editions, create an Adobe ID and authorize your computer.   See the Adobe Digital Editions guide for more help with this process.

Proceed once you have completed the above steps

• Select "Download this Ebook (Offline)"
• Select the format (PDF or EPUB) of the ebook you wish to download. Note that both formats will not always be available.
• A file ending with ".acsm" will download.
• Open the file. It will automatically open in Adobe Digital Editions.
• Ebooks will be checked out for 3 days (72 hours). They will automatically be returned when the loan expires and there are no late fees.
• You can view the ebooks you have checked out in your "My Checkouts" folder on the EBSCOhost platform.

• Once you have selected a title to read, you can read online by either selecting PDF Full Text or EPUB Full Text (availability of formats will vary from each ebook)
• Browse the book by using the controls at the bottom of the screen or by selecting chapters in the control panel (on the left)
• You can search within the ebook using the "Search Within" tool at the top of the control panel.
