The library offers a range of helpful services. All of our appointments are free of charge and confidential.
This guide organizes writing resources (LibGuides, templates, and videos) to help academic writers at various stages of their writing process.
Because writing and research is an iterative process, this guide also includes resources to help writers in their pre-writing and revising stages.
Whether you are writing your first university paper, completing your doctoral dissertation, or writing a research article for publication, Writing Services is here to support you in taking your writing to the next level with feedback, guidance, and resources. We can help you organize and structure writing projects, provide feedback on drafts, answer questions about writing in specific disciplines or genres, and much more.
We offer free, confidential writing appointments to University of Guelph undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, staff, and visiting scholars. We also teach a large number of writing workshops throughout the year.
