Present Like a Pro

What resources can help me present like a pro?

How can I get feedback on my presentation skills?

  • Constructive feedback is key to improving your skills - the better the feedback, the more quickly you'll improve.
  • Record yourself as you practice your presentation. Watching the recording - even for a minute - will help you evaluate your performance more objectively.
  • Friends are usually not the best choice for honest feedback; choose a more impartial person for feedback.
  • For a critique that’s both constructive and compassionate, make an appointment with one of the staff in Learning Services in the Library. This service is free and confidential.
