What is MATLAB?

  • Do you have data analysis, numeric computation, or data visualization to conduct? Then MATLAB is the tool for you.
  • MATLAB is mostly used in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) academic disciplines. It is also used in the social sciences.

Where can I access MATLAB?

  • MATLAB is available on the library public computers. for use by UoG students, staff and faculty during library hours.
  • MATLAB for Windows is available for download by UoG students, staff and faculty through the CCS software site.
  • If you need help installing MATLAB on your computer you can either drop by the IT Help Desk located on the first floor of the library or contact CCS Help Services.
