• Ares is a single-point access for instructors and students for online reserve services.
• As a hands-on, instructor driven tool, it allows instructors to make course materials available to enrolled students.
• Ares is designed for e-resources, but also manages physical items.
• Ares is integrated with CourseLink, Alma and Omni.
• It incorporates copyright and accessibility management.

• Login to the ARES Course Reserve System by using your UG Central login ID.
• Click on a course to display both the electronic and hard copy course reserve readings available.
• For electronic content, click on 'View Item'.
• For physical content, click on ‘Show Details’ for the location, status, loan period, and call number. To borrow the item, locate it in the Self-Serve Reserve Collection on the first floor of the library, then check it out using the adjacent self-check unit. These items have a shorter loan period and a higher overdue fine than other library materials.
